Ingredients
- 125ml whole/semi-skimmed milk (hot)
- 2-3 x Masala Chai tea Bags or 6-9 grams of Masala Chai loose leaf tea
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp melted butter/vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 130g plain flour (all-purpose flour)
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
Method
- Heat the milk up until it is boiling hot

- Sift in the flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.
- In the same bowl, pour in the Masala Chai infused milk. Fold through with a spatula - don’t overmix.
- Preheat the pan over medium heat.
- Scoop half a ladle of pancake batter onto the pan and allow to cook for 1-2 minutes (or until you see bubbles appearing on the surface)
- Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Repeat for the remaining amount of batter.
- Serve with maple syrup, honey, or melted butter and top with fresh fruit of your choice.
